Lockwatch - Thief Catcher is an Android app that takes a photo of anyone who tries to unlock your phone with the wrong code and emails it to you along with your phone's GPS location. With Lockwatch, you can easily catch anyone snooping around your phone or locate the thief who has stolen it. The app silently captures a photo of the intruder using the front camera and immediately sends you the photo and GPS location before the phone is switched off. It also calculates the phone's location using GPS and WiFi. Lockwatch does not require a third-party lock screen and only runs when the wrong unlock code is entered. The app has helped recover hundreds of lost and stolen phones and has been featured in TV and online news stories. Premium features include attaching several photos and audio clips to increase the chances of catching the thief, receiving email notifications when someone inserts a new SIM card or turns on the phone, and removing all in-app advertisements.
