The Fake GPS Location app allows you to change your phone's location with just a few clicks. This means you can trick other apps into thinking you are somewhere else in the world. The app even has Tasker support and can be started or stopped from the command line. However, it's important to note that after using Fake GPS, your location may appear locked to the last mocked location even after uninstalling the app. To fix this issue, the app suggests two steps. You can either install "GPS Status" from the Play Store and get a fresh GPS fix, or set your real location in Fake GPS and leave it for several hours. It's important to be patient as the issue should disappear in one or two days. For rooted devices, mock locations can be enabled without allowing mock locations from the settings.
