LG TV Remote is an android app that allows users to control their LG Smart TVs from their mobile devices. Users can pair their TV and mobile devices via the same WiFi network to use the app. The app features Mini TV, which allows users to watch live channels on their mobile devices. It also includes hotkeys for volume/channel control and access to premium content providers and MyApps service. The app provides a touchpad feature to control the LG Smart TV like a magic remote using the touchpad on the mobile device. Other features include easy text input via smartphone, quick memo for capturing and adding comments to the TV screen, and unified search and Smartshare (supported only in 2013 TV models).
