The LG webOS Magic Remote app allows you to use your mobile phone as a remote control for your LG webOS TV. With this app, you can enjoy all the functionalities of your webOS TV right from your phone. You can use the app to control your TV by simply pointing your phone towards the TV screen. It also offers a one-click connection feature for easy setup. The app allows you to customize the buttons layout and create your own layouts. It no longer requires a gyroscope as it has a touch-pad implemented. You can use the app to power on/off your TV through Wi-Fi or Infrared port. Additionally, it provides the ability to switch channels and launch applications. Pairing your phone with the webOS TV is required only during the first app start, and both devices need to be on the same local network.
