About
aFirewall is an Android Firewall app that allows you to block calls and messages based on different rules. You can configure multi rules to block different calls or messages at different times. It supports periodic rules and one-shot time rules.
To prioritize aFirewall for monitoring incoming messages, it should be installed before other third-party messaging apps like Go SMS Pro or Handcent.
The app provides a default Blacklist to block numbers, and you can also block unknown/private/restricted/anonymous calls. The Protected list ensures that specific numbers are never blocked. The app allows you to hang up blocked calls, block group lists separately for calls and messages, and set responses for blocked calls and messages.
It also supports data backup, security features like password/fake password and hiding the app icon, and additional features like outgoing call blocking, prefix wildcard blocking, and SMS keyword blocking. Note that some Android permissions might require rooting the device.
