MAME4droid is an Android emulator app that allows you to play arcade games on your device. It is based on the MAME 0.37b5 emulator and supports over 2000 different romsets. Some games may run better than others and some may not run at all. The app is compatible with Android devices running version 2.1 and above, including Honeycomb tablets. It features options for remapping hardware keys, showing/hiding touch controller, adjustable CPU and audio clock, overlay filters, and support for external controllers like iCade and Wiimote. To run the games, you need to place your MAME-titled zipped roms in the designated folder. The app does not support save states.
