Glimmer is a luminous alarm clock app that gently wakes you up by gradually increasing the brightness of your screen 30 minutes before the alarm.
It offers various features including customizable options through an in-app purchase. Additionally, the app can play soothing bird sounds during the waking up process, and if you don't wake up 1 minute after the alarm, it plays a strong sound to ensure you don't miss it.
Furthermore, Glimmer can also put your phone in a night mode in the evening and switch back to the day mode in the morning. It adjusts settings like notification sound, brightness, and internet connectivity accordingly.
The app requires permissions to access the camera flash for added light, record crash data (optional), control WiFi and synchronization settings, and prevent the phone from sleeping during the alarm duration.
