StickMount is an app that automatically mounts and dismounts USB sticks on devices like the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10. It solves the problem of Nexus and "stock Android" devices not automatically mounting mass storage devices. Once StickMount is installed and a USB stick is connected, the device will prompt you to open StickMount. The app also includes features like killing apps that prevent unmounting, triggering the media scanner for file accessibility, and creating symbolic links. StickMount supports various filesystems depending on your device firmware, including vfat/fat/fat32, ext2/3/4, and read-only support for ntfs. Troubleshooting tips are also provided in the app. Please note that the app requires root access.
