The NISHTHA app is a capacity building program aimed at improving the quality of school education through integrated teacher training. It focuses on building competencies among teachers and school principals at the elementary stage. The program provides training on various topics including learning outcomes, school-based assessment, learner-centered pedagogy, and addressing diverse needs of children. The app also features a robust portal/Management Information System (MIS) for delivering training, monitoring progress, and providing support. With the goal of training 42 lakhs teachers, the program is organized by National and State Resource Groups.
