The NS app is the official planning application for Dutch Railways. It provides real-time journey planning, train timetables, and information on planned work and disruptions. Users can also find station-specific details like facilities and shops. The app sends notifications for delays on saved trips. Location permission is required to show nearby train stations, while the "Photo's/media/files" permission is used to save temporary files for faster loading of Google Maps.
