The Khmer Standard Keyboard app is designed for users who wish to type in Khmer script. This keyboard is compatible with all versions of Android, starting from 2.x. It offers predictive text for Khmer, which aids in completing longer words. The layout of the keyboard is based on an agreement made between prominent language technologists in Cambodia, as per the request of Google. While the keyboard is based on the Khmer Standard Keyboard used in Cambodia, it has been slightly modified to accommodate the layout of Android. Developed by the Open Institute as part of the USAID funded SPICE program, this application is licensed under LGPL, enabling free use, copying, and distribution.
