Qibla Finder is a free app that helps Muslims determine the direction of the Qibla in Mecca, which they must face before praying. Using GPS, wireless networks, or cell data, the app accurately fixes your location and calculates the magnetic declination to determine the direction of the Qibla. You can also manually select your location from the included database of towns with populations over 15,000. By conserving battery and speeding up direction finding, the app provides accurate results even if you are not in the city of Mecca. The app also predicts and includes the necessary information for the changing magnetic declination, which will expire in 2020 and will require an application update.
