Control your Sony TV with ease using the "Remote Control for Sony TV" app. Whether you prefer network IP control or infrared (IR) control, this app has got you covered.
This app works with phones and tablets equipped with a built-in IR blaster (infrared port) such as Samsung Galaxy S series until S6, HTC ONE, LG G3/G4/G5, Xiaomi Mi / Redmi / Note, and Huawei Mate / Honor. No setup or WiFi connection is required, making it easy to use right away. Just point your phone's IR blaster at the TV, and you're good to go. It works on various Samsung devices and older models running on Android 4.1 - 4.2.2 as well.
If you prefer network IP control, make sure your Sony TV is turned on and connected to the same local/home network as your mobile device. You can even manually enter the TV's IP address if needed. Compatible TV models from 2011 to 2017 are supported.
