The Oi 9º Dígito app helps users update their contact list quickly and easily. It allows users to format their contacts for making calls while traveling outside their city or outside of Brazil, and also helps in organizing their agenda. The app automatically inserts the ninth digit in all contacts from areas that have adopted this new numbering format.
Users can also standardize the numbers in their agenda using the long-distance code from Oi. The app reminds users to revert their contact list to the original format, without the +55, after their trip abroad.
It is important to note that contacts saved on the SIM card cannot be updated using this app. It is recommended to import these contacts to the device's memory before updating them.
