The DIRECTV Remote app allows you to control your DIRECTV HD receivers from your Android phone. Change channels, pause, rewind, and record your favorite shows just like you would with a regular remote. The app also features a Mini Guide that lets you preview programming on your phone and seamlessly switch it to your TV screen. Control every HD receiver in your home with the app and receive a notification when a receiver is detected. The Play/Pause button allows you to pause what you're watching when you receive a call and resume when you're finished. Just make sure your DIRECTV HD receivers are properly set up before using the app. A Wi-Fi connection to your home network and a compatible DIRECTV Plus HD DVR are required.
