Gold Runner is an Android game where players control a character who must collect all the gold in each level while avoiding guards who try to catch them. The game features multiple levels with a brick platform motif, ladders, and suspended hand-to-hand bars that offer different paths to travel. Players can dig holes into floors to temporarily trap guards and can walk over trapped guards safely. The floors regenerate over time, filling in the holes. The player starts with five lives and can earn extra lives by completing levels. The game requires strategic thinking, as players can only dig holes to the sides and must plan their moves to solve each level's challenges.
