Taskbar is a productivity app that adds a start menu and recent apps tray on top of your screen, turning your Android device into a multitasking machine. It supports Android 10's Desktop Mode, allowing you to connect your compatible device to an external display and run apps in resizable windows. The app can also launch apps in freeform windows on devices running Android 7.0+ without an external display. Taskbar is supported on Android TV and Chrome OS as well, making it a great secondary launcher for Chromebooks or an Android-powered PC for Nvidia Shield. The app is free, open source, and ad-free, but there is also a donate version available.
