SailFreeGPS is a convenient app designed for sailors. It displays numerous essential information such as current location, course, speed, trip distance, and magnetic compass. The app also includes useful features like filtering GPS information for accuracy, sharing position with friends, tracking COG and SOG history, and helping with Man OverBoard maneuver. SailFreeGPS assists during regattas with its countdown timer and departure line feature. Users can store up to 8 waypoints and activate a GOTO function with ETA computation. Other features include track display on Google Maps, saving/loading tracks in GPX/KML file formats, calculating distance and heading, and an optional anchor or course alarm.
