About
ID Jovem is a free virtual identification document app implemented by the National Youth Secretariat. It allows low-income youth to access various benefits such as 50% discount on cinemas, theaters, shows, and other cultural and sports events, free and discounted interstate transportation, and exemption from the student identity card issuance fee. The app also provides news, programs, and actions of the Federal Government targeting youth. Users can generate multiple ID cards per device and receive notifications for card expiration. Business owners can register to validate ID cards presented by low-income youth in their establishments. To have ID Jovem, users must be aged between 15 and 29, have a monthly family income of up to two minimum wages, and be registered in the Federal Government's Social Programs Registry.
