Status is a status bar replacement app that draws an overlay on top of the system-generated status bar. It doesn't override touch gestures or hide the standard notification panel. The app requires several permissions to display information in the status bar, such as accessing accessibility service to get the current app's status bar color and notification access to obtain notification icons. It also provides features like checking battery charging status, network connection, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi status, GPS availability, alarm settings, and more. The app is compatible with devices below Android Oreo and will continue to receive support as long as it remains in the interest of the community. Status has been designed by various contributors and supports multiple languages.
