The app supports the WIC programs in several states, including Alaska, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, and more. It enables users to check the WIC eligibility of products while they shop by scanning the products with their phone. Additionally, in most supported states, users can register their eWIC card and automatically download their current benefits every time they shop. The app not only informs users if a product is WIC eligible but also indicates if they have enough benefits left to purchase it. Users in states that use "smart cards" can capture and store an image of their benefits for future use.
