About
LG TV SmartShare-webOS is an upgraded version of the SmartShare app that comes pre-installed on LG Electronics smartphones. It integrates pre-installed Gallery, Music, and Video players with the same functions.
With LG TV SmartShare-webOS, you can enjoy videos, music, and photos from your smartphone on your LG Smart+ TV(webOS). Simply connect your smartphone and TV on the same Wi-Fi network and select and play the file from the app. You can also share the file directly to the TV for playback.
Some important points: both the smartphone and TV must be on the same wireless network, Miracast is supported on LG smartphones only, and supported media formats include JPEG, PNG, BMP images, MP3 music, and DivX6, XViD, MPEG-4 videos.
Supported devices include LG webOS TVs released in 2014 and LG or Samsung smartphones higher than G2 and Galaxy S4, respectively.
