T-SAT is an Android app by Society for Telangana State Network (SoFTNET/T-SAT) that provides quality education using satellite communications and Information Technology. The app uses GSAT 8 Satellite to telecast four channels, T-SAT NIPUNA and T-SAT VIDYA, which cater to distance learning, agriculture extension, rural development, tele-medicine, and e-governance needs of the people of Telangana. The app's mission is to educate, enlighten, and empower the people of Telangana State through audio-visual technology, bringing the best education and training facilities to the stakeholders. It channels various educational and training resources, enabling quality faculty to reach remote institutions. The app also offers training facilities in areas like women and child welfare, rural development, skill development, health, and agriculture extension, ensuring users stay updated with developments in these fields.
