About
The Samsung Smart View app allows you to control and cast your media files to Samsung Smart TVs released from 2011 to 2016. If you have a Samsung Smart TV from 2017 or later, or The Frame, please use the Samsung SmartThings app. The app supports various Samsung Smart TV models, including those from 2011 to 2016, with certain exceptions. Some features, however, may be limited by region and release schedule. The app requires permissions for storage and location (for discovering nearby TVs), and optional permissions for phone and microphone. Note that you can only change app permissions if your device runs on Android 6.0 or above.
