About
Radar COVID was a contact tracing app created by the Spanish government to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Using Bluetooth technology, the app anonymously alerted users if they had come into contact with someone infected with the virus in the past 14 days. Additionally, users could anonymously communicate their positive diagnosis or notify contacts they had been in close proximity to. Privacy and security were prioritized, as the app did not request personal information such as names, phone numbers, or emails. The app has been disconnected and unpublished as of 10/09/2022, following guidelines from the Ministry of Health. The app utilized free illustrations from www.freepik.es.
