Media Server is an Android app that allows you to share your multimedia content (photos / music / videos) with any UPNP / DLNA client, such as Smart TVs or gaming consoles. The app can only see media files that the Android gallery can see, except avi files. It may have some connectivity issues with cheap or old routers, especially when streaming video. If the client cannot see the server while connected to WiFi, the problem may lie in the router's UPNP configuration. The Pro version offers additional features such as an integrated firewall, individual file selection, and subtitle support. The free version has limited functionality but still allows for basic media sharing. To use the app, connect your Android device to a network and activate the server. Then, open the server on your DLNA compatible device to access its contents. Keep in mind that the server may take up to 10 seconds to become visible. Avoid using P2P programs on the same WiFi network to prevent communication issues.
