Namazu Alert is an earthquake alert application for Android smartphones. It provides the latest earthquake information in Japan with push notifications. While still in the experimental stage, you can activate the push notification feature to receive the latest earthquake information. However, please note that this feature does not guarantee notifications for all earthquakes. The app also includes lists of recent earthquakes and push notifications, which may differ from official information. It is recommended to keep the KeepAlive interval settings at their default values to ensure push notifications reach your device and conserve battery life. There may be a chance that the distance between your location and the epicenter is not displayed accurately due to the app estimating distance based on your last recognized location.
