IR Remote Control is an Android app that allows you to use your phone as a universal remote control for your TV, DVD, VCR or set-top box. It uses the infrared (IR) emitter on your phone to control any of your devices. Currently, it supports a wide range of TVs including LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony. You can also request to add more devices through the feedback option. The app has been confirmed to work with Samsung Galaxy S4 to control Panasonic and Sharp TVs. To use this app, you need a phone with Android 4.4 or later and an infra-red transmitter. Supported phones with IR Blaster include Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, Note 3, HTC One, and more, but LG G2 is not supported.
