Tabaud (COVID-19 KSA) is a contact tracing app developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. Packed with the latest government efforts, the app uses Apple/Google Exposure Notification API to combat and contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Tabaud offers three main services to users, including notifying individuals if they have come into contact with someone confirmed to be infected, sending their health forms to the Ministry of Health for necessary medical support, and allowing infected individuals to share their test results with contacts from the past 14 days. With user privacy as a priority, the app uses Bluetooth technology and requires no information or location sharing. However, starting the medical procedure does require certain details to be provided.
